Welcome.
My name is Adam Morris, I am french confectioner. Or actually I was. My small pastry shop Morris Baked Goods still exists in Tulon. I decided to leave it to my friend and start travelling around the world to look for tasty inspirations. I want to come back with new, exotic flavors. I want to talk to the people who are also pastry cooks. To learn what kind of sweets people eat around the world. How they use their local goodies. What secret recipes they have. Which products do they use.
I want to eat in recommended restaurants, talk to the people. Enjoy life. Try every possible national dish. Isn’t it the best way to get to know other culture? Even if we don’t know each other language we can just sit, eat and enjoy nice surroundings.
Food is our common ground, a universal experience.

All you need is food
I have some savings, I’ve been working hard just after my technical college. Now, since I have already my own business I can relax and see the world. All the continents. Devote one year of my life to travelling. Try especially those things, which I can currently have only frozen or dried finally fresh. Isn’t it exciting to eat coconut just from the palm tree on the sandy beach? I know that travelling broadens mind. Each travel, no matter if its Malaga, Dubrovnik or Krakow, gives me a lot of joy and inspiration. So my goal is not only to bring back new ideas for my pastry shop. I want to come back a better person. Bring my memories which will stay with me for ever. I don’t want to observe the world only through TV screen. And see how other people dare to discover foreign countries. I prefer to be one of them. So my tasty journey starts!
Food, in the end, in our own tradition, is something holy. It’s not about nutrients and calories. It’s about sharing. It’s about honesty. It’s about identity.
